Okay, Jayme, why are you on the Internet telling us about cleaning products? What IS this stuff?
Here it is, in a nutshell:
The GOAL: radically reduce chemicals in homes & reduce negative impacts on the environment, all while improving quality of life. Check out Norwex’s promise for a brighter future.
In my experience, cleaning with Norwex products really reduces my cleaning time and makes my life easier. Plain and simple. I literally made fun of my friends who sold it, because who sells CLEANING PRODUCTS!? You used to be cool!
And then I slowly ended up buying half the catalogue, and love is love. So here I am.
The WHY: Nearly 80% of all waster in our landfills and oceans now consists of plastic debris. By 2050, there will be more plastic in the earth’s oceans than fish (by weight). I’m not an Earth and Environmental Scientist, but this seems like a good reason to hit the “REDUCE” button on our plastic use. OF 85,000 chemicals in existence today, only about 200 have been test for their impact on human health. Google it. I get that it’s financially infeasible to do all that testing, but there is a definite lack of information. People used to use PCBs and Asbestos until they found out its harmful: I can’t avoid everything, but I can avoid some things, and I don’t think that hurts.
SUPPORT: individuals, families, charitable projects that address growing concerns about harmful chemicals, plastic pollution, and environmental issues.
BONUS: Cleaning is easier, you’ll reduce cleaning time by up to 75%, and you can reduce costs by saying goodbye to all of those disposable cleaning products.
I hope you’re intrigued, if only because you want to spend less time cleaning and more time drinking wine! Comment below with your most HATED cleaning task, and I’ll see if I can give you a recommendation!
